About Helen Doron Academy

Transforming Education: Pioneering Change and Impact.

In 1985, Helen Doron, a young mother, was inspired by her daughter’s violin lessons using the Suzuki Method. She pondered, “If Suzuki can teach music as a language, why can’t we teach language as music?”
Being a linguistic expert, Doron grasped language intricacies. As a mother of bilingual kids, she recognized the hurdles of teaching English as a second language.

This led to the inception of a distinctive method to teach English to children through music, fun, and games, mirroring how they learn their native language. The innovative approach gained traction, and Helen began training local educators to cater to the rising demand.

By 1995, the method’s success resonated globally, attracting educators to the franchise network. A decade later, over a million students were enrolled in 100 centers. Recognizing the benefits of early learning, a program was introduced for infants to learn English alongside their parents. Concurrently, Helen and her expert team expanded the method to community centers, schools, and preschools.

Understanding teenagers’ unique needs, tailored courses were designed for them. The subsequent launch of TeenBuzz Radio, an all-English platform, saw participation from Helen Doron Teen English students from over 100 countries.

The team, always evolving, integrated modern technology into the learning process, introducing diverse educational apps for all age groups. By 2013, Helen Doron Academies emerged, offering preschoolers a comprehensive educational experience. Two years later, marking three decades of unparalleled education, the network boasted 2 million students across 1,000 centers. Helen’s ethos of community betterment is evident in the “Young Hero” initiatives, empowering even the youngest learners to impact their communities.

The Helen Doron Educational Group has garnered numerous international accolades for its educational prowess and mentorship. Presently, over three million Helen Doron English graduates across 40 nations stand equipped to thrive in the global arena, fluent in the universal language of business, science, and entertainment.
